Origin:
Black diamonds, also known as "carbonado," are a unique and rare variety of diamond. They are composed primarily of amorphous carbon and differ in their structure from traditional colorless diamonds. Their origin is not yet fully understood, but they are said to be found primarily in Brazil and Central Africa. Many black diamonds are believed to have been formed by meteorite-like events or volcanic activity, which gives them a special mystical aura.
Special features:
Unlike white diamonds, black diamonds don't have a clear color scale, as their color is based on the high number of inclusions and structural characteristics. They are considered "opaque," meaning they do not transmit light, unlike transparent white diamonds. This opacity gives them a very distinctive appearance and a beauty all their own. Their value depends less on clarity and more on their weight, shape, and cut.
